Arguably $30,000 of value added for $8,800…
Most sellers would think the kitchen below is good enough to list the house. They are correct to an extent. The homeowner called the ‘Heroes’ to inquire about some general handyman repairs prior to the home going on the market.
We assessed all of the general handyman repairs and agreed that they must be addressed. We also advised that we should address the kitchen to add more in resale value. Remember kitchens sell a home!
The kitchen had dated hardware on the cabinets and dated countertops. Also, this kitchen had an electric range and a small double bowl sink.
We suggested that we replace the hardware on the cabinets, countertop and sink as well as run a gas line to add a slide-in gas range. We also advised a new garbage disposal be installed.
After pics below…
We feel we added a solid $30,000 to the resale value of this home.
The seller invested no capital of his own and will receive anywhere from $10,000 to $25,000 more dollars at the closing table. This is already accounting the $8800 for our services which will come out of the proceeds at closing.
Home Renovation Heroes offers value to home sellers that is almost too good to be true. However, it’s real and it’s what we consistently do for home sellers.
Myself and my contractors grew up in the greater Pittsburgh area and we are passionate about what we do. We want sellers to get the most for their homes and we also want buyers to love the homes they buy. It’s a win win for everyone involved.
Thanks for stopping by.
